Rabindranath Tagore Portal for History, Development and Human Security in South Asia discusses and promotes peace and development in the South Asian region with a reference to its history and culture. It is named after Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941), South Asia’s first Nobel Laureate, man of letters, artist and a great humanist. We believe that peace and development in South Asia can be best promoted by building international networks that speak and cooperate across national, religious, ethnic and cultural borders in the region. All debates and discussions on this website are open and interactive. Feel free to join them by sending us your valuable information, digital content, and views on the relevant subjects. We shall publish them on these pages after an editorial review.
