They remain culturally diverse despite their English majorities. They have also remained some of the most influential political and economic actors in the international arena over the past two centuries. The US and Britain, in particular, have determined the course of a number of wars and conflicts, across the world, over the past two centuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Canada, along with the US and Britain, offers some valuable education in how to promote peace and develop societies. Some very interesting and effective instruments of peace promotion and reconstruction of conflict ridden societies have been developed by these three countries. Many lessons can also be learnt from their failures and shortcomings in these efforts. Modern day global discourse on war, peace, reconciliation and post conflict reconstruction has been shaped by the intellectual inputs from these countries in a significant way.
