Rehman Baba Peace Salon is an Institute of Peace, Development and Area Studies. It studies select regions and people of the world and pursues a global agenda for promotion of peace and advocacy for development. Its primary area of research and study are the following regions:

4) The Historic Jewish Experience and the Holocaust.
Rehman Baba Peace Salon is named after Rehman Baba (1632-1706), a Pashtun poet, mystic and a great humanist. Rehman Baba is celebrated as a national hero in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is respected by admirers of the Pashto language and literature around the world.
The institute has ancillary affiliates for the study of South Asia, Afghanistan and the North West Pakistan. They can be accessed on their respective Websites for each of the regions
1) South Asia 2) Afghanistan 3) North West Pakistan
The Institute studies regions, economic situations and developmental trends and conflict zones. It analyzes history, politics and cultures and offers ideas on how to connect people across regions for a common agenda of promotion of peace and socio-economic development. We believes that more protection and respect for nature and life can scale down the levels of natural and man-made calamities and bring prosperity to the world. We take somewhat special interest in the tenets of the theory of Human Security as we study and promote peace and development. Rehman Baba Peace Salon welcomes articles, research papers, podcasts, video clips and other relevant content on these subjects. We also conduct research and advocacy projects with partners.
